Your music. A shared release.

Revenue received by Industrial Echo Records from the released master recording is split 50% to the artist and 50% to the label, subject to the terms of the signed agreement. The label share supports the artwork, administration, distribution, promotion, artist tools and ongoing work involved in managing the release.

You keep 100% of your publishing rights.

Industrial Echo artists stay self-published. We do not own, administer or collect your songwriting or music publishing: registration, writer shares, collection societies and publishing income all remain yours to handle, and publishing money is never paid through us.

The 50/50 split applies to income received from the master recording. It does not transfer your publishing rights. This page is a plain-language summary of how we work, not legal advice — the signed agreement is always the definitive document, and we encourage artists to read it carefully and take their own advice if they wish.

• Beatport and Bandcamp releases

  Our releases are available on Beatport and Bandcamp on release day, alongside the other major platforms.

• Premium release artwork

  Every accepted release receives professional artwork designed around the track concept, genre and artist identity. Artists are not charged for the design.

• Social media promo pack

  We prepare professional promotional artwork for the release campaign, including suitable formats for social posts, stories and key release stages such as Coming Soon, Pre-order and Out Now.

• DJ and radio promotion

  We include eligible releases in promo-drop emails to our promo network of around 4,000 contacts, including subscribed DJs, radio contacts, music industry contacts and our artists. The list changes over time, and campaign recipients depend on the release and the current list. If a track reaches the charts, we give it an extra promotional push to build on that momentum.

  Promotion creates genuine opportunities for the music to be heard, but no label can guarantee DJ support, radio play, reviews, chart positions, streams or playlist placement.

• Your private Artist Hub

  If we agree to work together, we send you a private Artist Hub link. Read the agreement first; if you want to proceed, complete your artist and track details, upload the requested files and review and sign the agreement. The label reviews your submission before preparing the release. Sending a demo is a separate first step, not signing a contract.

• Remix and collaboration opportunities

  When the music and artists are a good fit, we may explore official remixes, collaborations or compilations together. These are possibilities, not a condition of signing.

• Clear communication and release support

  Know what’s needed and where your release stands. The Artist Hub brings details, requested files and release progress together so you can follow the process.

Need a final polish before release? We can master your music: £10 for one track, or £15 in total for a complete EP or album. This is entirely optional — ask the label before sending your files. Mastering is never a condition of signing or release, and no paid mastering is required to submit a demo.

Industrial Echo Records does not charge signed artists a submission fee, signing fee, artwork fee, compulsory promotional fee or Artist Hub fee. We believe these services are part of the label’s responsibility to the artists it chooses to work with.

Any unusual third-party cost, licensed sample, specialist service or project outside the standard release agreement would need to be discussed and agreed clearly in advance. Nothing should be added as a surprise charge.

• Respond to reasonable release requests and agreed deadlines
• Support and share the release where possible
• Communicate openly if a problem or delay arises

A good release is a shared effort. We provide the label support, and we ask artists to work with us openly so the music has the strongest possible chance.

Artwork, promotion and clear communication belong in a label partnership, not on a list of compulsory extras.

Independent music works best when labels and artists help each other. We want artists to feel informed, respected and supported throughout the relationship.
